The Genesis: Cliff Coffin emerged from Kuala Lumpur's underground electronic scene not as a seeker of fame, but as an architect of experience. In a city where electronic music often gravitates toward the commercial, Cliff chose the path of uncompromising artistry.
The project began in 2024 as an exploration of the spaces between genres – where techno's mechanical precision meets trance's transcendental ambitions. But this isn't fusion for fusion's sake. Every element serves the greater architecture of immersion.
The Philosophy: "WHERE CONTROL MEETS CHAOS" isn't just a tagline – it's a manifesto. Cliff's productions are exercises in controlled abandon, where meticulous engineering creates the framework for ecstatic surrender. The music doesn't ask for your attention; it commands your nervous system.

The Craft: Working primarily from his Kuala Lumpur studio, Cliff approaches production with the precision of an engineer and the intuition of a shaman. Each track undergoes months of refinement, tested in underground sessions before earning its place in the catalog.
The breakthrough came with early underground support for tracks like "Recoil" and "Stratofortress" – raw, uncompromising pieces that found their way into the sets of selectors across Europe and North America. Word spread through the underground network that something different was emerging from Southeast Asia.
The Label: Sync Primitive Recording Co. was founded as a vessel for this vision – music that operates on its own frequency. As the label's flagship artist, Cliff represents a generation of producers who prioritize artistic integrity over algorithmic optimization.

The Live Foundation
Years on the floor before the alias had a name. Aqua in Mont Kiara, Pisco, The X; long nights learning to read a room in real time. The reflex that later became the studio brief: build for the moment the floor tips.
OUTPOST
OUTPOST goes on air. A recurring broadcast becomes the home signal for the sound; the show that later climbs the Mixcloud Global Top 50 starts here.
HITZ FM Guest Mix
A guest mix on HITZ FM, Malaysia’s largest commercial station. The underground sound, for one slot, on the national frequency.
The Genesis
Cliff Coffin begins as a studio discipline in Kuala Lumpur. The signature sound architecture takes shape across long-form sessions; the first rough transmissions are cut.
